Ventura Charter School’s progressive, high-quality, student-centered educational program expands educational choices for parents and their children in the public school system, supports a nurturing community of learners, and improves student achievement. We created a custom PHP application for volunteer management and extensive parent password protected pages with committee signups.

Oak Grove School – Web Design
Designed and implemented a website redesign for this progressive private school that serves children from pre-K through 12th grade. The website is built within Joomla, a free, open-source content management system, and includes and online registration and payment system. Based on their market research, Oak Grove learned that many high school students research their own school, and it was an important goal to design a site that would appeal to young people. Another key component of the site is the creation of customized portals for each of the main constituents: Early Childhood, Elementary, Junior High and High School.

Implemented an online auction website to provide an eBay-like experience for an online fundraiser. This was implemented by installing and customizing free, open source software, installed on their web server, to provide a seamless user experience from their existing site.

Installed, designed, developed and implemented customized open-source online content management system to create the business development website of over 100 pages for this online community.
C.enne.V – Web Development
WackyPuppy developed a state-of-the-art, sophisticated e-commerce website for this fashion designer. Cheyenne Valenzuela, owner and designer of C.enne.V, wanted a site that truly sells, to replace her outdated Yahoo Store website.
CAUSE – Web Design
WackyPuppy designed and developed the CAUSE website, focusing on building a website that could grow with them as they have more time and resources to enrich content and engagement with constituents across traditional and online channels. We implemented the site using Joomla, a free online content management system.

Thomas Aquinas College – Web Design
WackyPuppy designed a new database-driven website for Thomas Aquinas College, including a completely new user interface, social media and email signup integration, contact forms, online e-commerce bookstore, secure online tuition payments and donations, extensive content sharing, video and audio integration, two blogs and over 500 pages, all optimized for search engines. The site was developed using Drupal, a free open source content management system, and integrates the Ubercart shopping cart and MailChimp email marketing.
Heartsong Health – Web Design
WackyPuppy designed and developed a temporary web home for HeartSong, and is currently in development to build a database-driven website in Joomla, to provide a feature-rich online community to support the practice’s clients. We have also developed sophisticated, secure multi-page interactive forms that are HIPAA compliant and provide clients and staff increased access to information.
Jennifer Hadley – Web Design
Designed and developed this highly customized website and blog within WordPress. The site is integrated with 1ShoppingCart, to create a paid membership site with various downloads and membership levels.
Strategic Ocean Solutions – Web Design
For their website, SOS asked for us to keep costs low, while providing a unique and beautiful site that reflects their love of ocean environments and its creatures, all on a very tight budget. The completely custom site is coded in HTML/CSS, integrating a WordPress blog and social media.
Earth Protect – Web Development
Earth Protect is an online community and social hub advocating personal action for global sustainability using video and digital content created by passionate, talented people from novice to expert. WackyPuppy was there at the beginning, helping them design the site functionality and launch their very first site on a shoestring budget. We implemented the first version of their site in Joomla, using preexisting open source site add-ons to create a “YouTube for the environment”. They’ve grown a lot since those early days, and have taken on the site management and development in-house. Earth Day is Every Day – go Earth Protect!
