Oak Grove School – Web Design
Designed and implemented a website redesign for this progressive private school that serves children from pre-K through 12th grade. The website is built within Joomla, a free, open-source content management system, and includes and online registration and payment system. Based on their market research, Oak Grove learned that many high school students research their own school, and it was an important goal to design a site that would appeal to young people. Another key component of the site is the creation of customized portals for each of the main constituents: Early Childhood, Elementary, Junior High and High School.

Implemented an online auction website to provide an eBay-like experience for an online fundraiser. This was implemented by installing and customizing free, open source software, installed on their web server, to provide a seamless user experience from their existing site.

Interactive maps, an intuitive layout, and a comprehensive online “staff lounge” ensure clients and staff are better prepared than a troop of Boy Scouts!

PIT – Web Design
Performance Improvement Training classes help high school and college basketball players achieve strong improvement in vertical jump, in overall body strength, and in general conditioning. WackyPuppy developed their business identity, as well as a website with an online registration form. The website was developed in HTML/CSS, but incorporates a simple-to-use and very affordable content management system component that allows the client to edit the text on their site themselves. The online sign up form collects program registration data securely and efficiently, using a free web-based service to keep development cost low.
Oak Grove School – Web Design (previous site)
WackyPuppy recently designed and implemented a new database-driven website for Oak Grove School, but we also designed their previous static HTML site. This was work we did in 2005.
Oak Grove School – Day of Reading Fundraising Campaign
Designed and implemented customized landing pages for various aged groups within the Oak Grove community, to provide a more targeted experience for their annual Day of Reading fundraising appeal. This campaign resulted in higher donations for the school.
Ventura WILD – Business Development
WackyPuppy is a huge fan of Ventura WILD, and has been involved from the very beginning, helping to identify a client base of adventure-hungry kids to picking a name, establishing a web presence and establishing a registration process. Getting kids out into nature is the goal, and we are so proud of what Ventura WILD is accomplishing in the community for our children!
Life Chronicles – Social Media Campaign
In 2010, LifeChronicles participated in the Pepsi Refresh campaign, in an effort to win a $250K grant from Pepsi to fund LifeSpace, an interactive video website that will provide local schools and youth groups with the training and equipment they need to record and edit the stories of people within their community, with the goal of extending LifeChronicle’s services to all who would like them. WackyPuppy designed and executed the social media campaign, leveraging email, a Facebook Fan page and a new home page for the duration of the campaign, to drive participation and daily voting. While LifeChronicles didn’t win this highly competitive competition, we did rank in the top 17% of projects, made new friends, increased donations and added new donors, as well as increased engagement across their website and Facebook.
The Rescue Train’s Gift of Love – Web Design
There’s no better way to celebrate unconditional love than to give the gift of life to a homeless dog or cat facing euthanasia at a city shelter. The Rescue Train’s Gift of Love Wedding Boutique is a website devoted to brides and grooms who want to share their love of animals, providing wedding favors, gift cards and a wedding registry, where the proceeds go towards saving homeless pets!

Varnish – Web Design
Varnish wanted a website that communicated the hip, ultra modern, stylish vibe that clients would find in their salon, so that’s just what we designed and implemented for them. An innovative Flash website with sexy and fun animations, strong brand presence, and a unique interactive color picker that allowed customers to choose and purchase over 100 nail polish colors, all in one easy to use Flash tool. Custom HTML, Flash and shopping cart development characterized this state-of-the art website.

Schur & Sugarman is a business management firm based in Los Angeles that serves clients in the entertainment industry. They wanted a website that would appeal to their creative clients, communicate the high level of professionalism and quality of services that they provide, while not falling into the cookie-cutter boring website common to most sites in their field. WackyPuppy designed and developed an attractive, classy, simple to navigate website for them using HTML and CSS.
Harold Freeman Jewelers – Web Design
Harold Freeman Jewelers, based in Tampa Bay, Florida, specializes in buying and selling Patek Philippe timepieces as well as other fine Swiss brands. They asked WackyPuppy to design a new look and feel for the website, which they then applied to the site. WackyPuppy has also implemented a web form and some interactive features in their site.

ResumeNEXT is a web-based service providing rich media resume profiles for jobseekers, featuring traditional downloadable text and pdf-based resumes, as well as video, audio, links to employers and work samples. The site features, functionality and visual design was created by WackyPuppy from start to finish, and built within a custom database-driven website using PHP.
Thomas Aquinas College – Web Design
WackyPuppy designed a new database-driven website for Thomas Aquinas College, including a completely new user interface, social media and email signup integration, contact forms, online e-commerce bookstore, secure online tuition payments and donations, extensive content sharing, video and audio integration, two blogs and over 500 pages, all optimized for search engines. The site was developed using Drupal, a free open source content management system, and integrates the Ubercart shopping cart and MailChimp email marketing.
Heartsong Health – Web Design
WackyPuppy designed and developed a temporary web home for HeartSong, and is currently in development to build a database-driven website in Joomla, to provide a feature-rich online community to support the practice’s clients. We have also developed sophisticated, secure multi-page interactive forms that are HIPAA compliant and provide clients and staff increased access to information.
